Wedding Hair by KrinaLee

So my clients of three+ years married the man of her dreams and I was there to make her and her wedding party Fabulous. Since moving to Fort Worth from Houston I have still maintained my clients in Houston TX. They are loyal to me and I am to them. So when the big day came I was ready to travel down to Houston to what I do best. I must admit I was a little teary eyed seeing a long time client marry the man of her dreams, I love that about my job you see your clients grown and you get to share in all their special events.  The venue was fit for a Princess so she decided to go with whimsical glam hair and everything turned out wonderful

My beautiful client Genesse

This up-do was a lot of fun because it was must first time styling braids but we made them look soft and whimsical as well. I was surprised  at how much I loved the look after i was all put together

                    Hair Extension Care Tips
It's really important to use professional line products on your hair extensions especially if you are buying virgin locks by the bundle. There are little tricks that you can do to keep your locks bouncy and beautiful and silky.

DO's

Do Use a Serum  I recommend the following , chi serum , super skinny by Paul Mitchell  which is my product of choice and bio-lace by Matrix , you can find this last product in any of your local drug stores.

Do: After shampooing your hair at home make sure you sit under the dryer to completely dry your braids to avoid a bad smell and even worse bacteria. which is a important reason you visit your stylist on a regular

Do: Spay your locks with a setting spray to hold your curls when thermal styling

Do: Use a dry shampoo if needed just to take out some oils to avoid shampooing  your hair to often This is a great tip for very  women that work out on a regular basis

DON'T

Don't use a heavy conditioner anything with added moister may be a bit to much and will weigh your hair down

Don't  use heavy sprits, they contain an high amounts of alcohol  which will dry your hair and leave it dull

Don't shampoo you to frequently

Don't use to much heat but if you must get a heat protestant and spay before adding heat

Keeping your hair clean and healthy under your sew in

Keeping your hair and scalp healthy while wearing a sew in. It's important to get your hair shampoo'd every two weeks or every week if you work out or super active. It's important to get to the salon for a professional  cleansing. But when  you can't here are some tips that will help you out

Tip#1- Add shampoo to a tube like the one to the right then add water. This is for your scalp make sure your squeeze the shampoo in between your braid to ensure to get a good lather. Shampoo at least twice once with a clarifying and once with a moisturizing shampoo.
Shampoo your extensions with non diluted shampoo .
Tip #2 - Repeat with Conditioner add a little water squeeze this solution between your braids let it sit for a minutes and rinse

Tip#3 Spray VitaTress in your scalp after you rinse out the      conditioner this is a leave in that you can spray on  your scalp three times a     week your hair does not have to be wet.

Tip#4 Sit under the dryerfor 45 mins+. Make sure your braids get completely dry add a cream to your scalp nothing oily and style your long locks

Extend Your Look For The Summer

My client Alexandrea has a threw out Sew in. This method is used when you want to leave the most of your hair out. You can also put your hair up in a pony tail, or other types of up do's

Below are examples of what a threw- out sew is and pics of how versatile this method is. about 90% of your hair is out which really gives a natural look The picture below are not my work just examples
This is a very undetectable method and it's affordable and super easy to maintain, and last for up to 6-8 weeks.

You can do any hair style, so plan on getting in the mirror, you tubing KrinaLee's  how to videos

You can never go wrong with changing up your look from time to time.I find that it gives you sass confidence and a let's go out and make it happen attitude.
