   Thalia met me at my salon KrinaLee Hair Studio and we got started on her new . This make-over had me blown away the moment I began to rise her color out. I could see the multi shades of red and brunette. After her shampoo and condition, Thalia bravely walked over and sat back down in my chair, and was just staring at this new person in the mirror! I knew that she was trying to adjust to seeing new color basically the new you! This is totally normal when your changing anything about your self, but had a feeing that she would love it and I'm so glad that she does.

Why is Thalia getting this total make-over you may ask? Well, owner of Ampd Model Managment Diabe Sale asked me to be apart of the Ampd Hair Division and I was honored. His vision for transforming aspiring models to professional models is dead on, giving them all the tools they need to impress top model agencies, including a new look. As you can see,this test shoot was definitely on the money!  

  

So let's get into what I did for Thalia's hair we mixed two different colors by Paul Mitchell, to change her blonde lifeless tresses to a fierce redish brown! I love how vibrant their hair color line is. For Thalia's look it was important that her haircolor have multi tones for a more natural look. We then added layers to her tresses to give her that super volumed Victoria Secret hair!

My trip to Kim Kimble Studio in West Hollywood, LA!!!

              I was Kimbleized

Wow I can't believe I was actually standing in a Kim Kimbles hair studio! This was like a dream come true for me. I traveled to Los Angas Califorina to attend Kim Kimbles first ever beauty camp on  morning of March 10, 2014 at 5 a.m in the morning. I began to style myself to perfection my make-up was soft and beautiful my hair was big curly and shinny! I made sure I wore all black with some heals to set the outfit! I wanted to look like a celebrity hair stylist since that's what I expire to be! Kim is someone in the industry that I, as a black women can look really admire. Their is a shortage of women that look like me in the industry and has accomplished things she has! 

   So when I pulled up to her salon I was so nervous but excited about all that I was going to learn! Being in that environment showed me that I'm on the right track with my career! 

  Kim Kimble had a celebrity make-up artist, trainer, and a fashion stylist! The speaker was she ran Obama's second ignogoration, Russle Simmion financial tour and Kim Kimbles empire! 

   The celebrity guest was MC Lyte, Lil Mama, and  Lamman Rucker. They were very inspiring, and gave great tips for being on a celebrity personal glam squad! This part of the boot camp really had me teary eyes because of the of the passion and love that they had for their craft and the fact that's they loved giving back!

   Kim Kimble was amazing I was so nervous when she walked out because it all just felt so surreal that i was even sitting in her salon. I was in the moment that we had all been waiting for.  She gave us great tips as wells as going into detail about the importance of all the information. She even showed us some of her HotRazor cutting techniques. ......And  her products omg I loooovvve Kim Kimbles hair products. My favorite so far is the Ginger cream shampoo and conditioner! Model's Guide to your off the Runway Look

Model Chanel Iman's off the runway look is super stylish and never over done! Her hair is never over done! This is what I call effortless glam.The everyday hairstyle for a model should always be two things, stylish and chic! It should be simple enough to make the world think  "you woke up like this"  and chic enough to make you stand out from all the rest!  "Agencies and photographers are always looking for models with shiny, healthy, and beautiful hair." -Model Connection

As a healthy hair stylist, I would tell all models to make sure they're using heat activated products such as thermal sprays, thermal shampoos. Deep condition your hair once a week with sulfur free products. 


Here are a few more tips:
1. Wash in luke warm water
2. Use a wide tooth not a brush and comb out your wet hair from ends to scalp 
3. Trim your ends every 6 weeks 
4. Eat plenty of foods with vitamins C, B, E and iron is a must 
5. Morrocanoil is a great oil to use as well

6. Drink lots of water with eletroylits 

7. Don't use a lot of products during the week. They dry out your hair

8. Get serum

Your definetly taken more seriously when your hair is straight for some reason, and more approachable says some guys,but long straight hair is so much fun expecially when your seriously having fun... For the most part I'm a perfect hair kinda girl and sometimes it can be frustrating because every piece must be perfectly   placed or I feel so werid about the whole hair style situation. It's no secret that I have a serious hair crush on Kim Kardashians long beautiful  locks she definetly is a libra lady because her hair is always on point, classy, simple, and sophisticated. At the end of the day the goal is to no matter what hair style you have remain positive, strong, healty and a go getter. Taking care of yourself and time out for your self can be the best thing you can ever do for yourself.

Summer is over but this haircolor is on fire!

If you havent experienced Fire Red Hair color this year you have been sitting under a rock. The first celebrity that I saw with this look was Rihanna, shortly after that singer K. Micheal started rocking firery red locks. I desided to take it a step further and add extra vibrant high lights to make change it up a bit. I must admite this was so much fun doing this color..

          A year ago my mom introduced me to Nickak Mineral Pressed Powder. It's a mineral foundation that cost $4.99.I  must admit I was very skeptical, but i couldn't really tell the diffence between that and my Mac mineral.  As a single and working Mom  you have to learn how to cut corners, bargin, and make responsible decisions. The best thing about this product is you can find it at most beauty supply stores, In and Around your neighborhood. I use Bobby Brown and Mac for  for special occassions but for my everyday, get up and go I use Nickak mineral pressed powder. It does not leave a ashly  look feel that most brand for women color that are purchased  from beauty supply's or grocery store brands. Wedding Hair by KrinaLee

So my clients of three+ years married the man of her dreams and I was there to make her and her wedding party Fabulous. Since moving to Fort Worth from Houston I have still maintained my clients in Houston TX. They are loyal to me and I am to them. So when the big day came I was ready to travel down to Houston to what I do best. I must admit I was a little teary eyed seeing a long time client marry the man of her dreams, I love that about my job you see your clients grown and you get to share in all their special events.  The venue was fit for a Princess so she decided to go with whimsical glam hair and everything turned out wonderful

This up-do was a lot of fun because it was must first time styling braids but we made them look soft and whimsical as well. I was surprised  at how much I loved the look after i was all put together
